Covers rubbed with some fraying to corners and spine ends, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages with some foxing (age speckling) to the tissues next to the illustrations, clean pages, name of Nellie L. Newell in calligraphic letters on preliminary blank along with Christmas 1877, no other markings.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
