Blue cloth boards, gilt lettering to spine and front cover, no dustwrapper. 10ins x 6.5ins, 38pp. This story was first bublished in ""The Blackdog"" but has been revised and slightly altered for this edition. Several gatherings are uncut, ie pages have never been opened. Spine sunned. G+ nr Vg.

London: William Jackson (Books) Ltd., 1930. First edition, #84 of 550 copies signed by the author.. Hardcover. Very Good. Tall 8vo., blue cloth, pp. 38. Being number three of the Furnival Books. The text of this tale has been revised and slightly altered from its first appearnce in The Black Dog. Tipped onto the endpaper is an A.L.s., from Coppard, dated 12/1/30, to Mr. Tupper, regarding his presence at an upcoming Broadside Club meeting. With the small bookplate of Albert Sperisen of the Black Vine Press. Stray glue marks f where the letter has previously been tipped in, spine slightly sunned, else very good or better. No wrapper. Letter has browned, and has several creases.
