The boards are clean and bright with a little bruising to the bottom corners and a little dust staining to the top edge. Internally clean, only the author's gift inscription on the front free endpaper. The dust jacket, which is now protected in a removable clear cover (not shown), is a little toned and dust marked on the rear panel has two 1cm closed tears on the tips of the fore edge and one on the bottom edge of the front panel.
