Laid-in is an octavo letterpress sheet "Directions for placing the plates". Bound in contemporary calf, dark red spine labels lettered in gold, edges sprinkled dark blue. Modest scattered foxing, a few small nicks and scuffing to the spine of vol. 2, overall very good.
