This book, written in German, consists of soil bulletins numbers 8 and 9 with very detailed analysis . There are 2 pockets, one for each bulletin that contain fold out maps of the areas and show by means of different colors the composition of the soil in these areas. The entire book is about 200pp and is bound in red cloth with gilt lettering. the owners name is gilt on the cover at the bottom as well. Some edgewear, at corners and spine beginning to age tone, especially the pockets. It appears the book is weitten both in German and in Chinese of that era as well. PON on title page top. Assumed first, no marks to the contrary..
