A very rare edition of Rolt's 12 ghost stories, published in 1974. Red cover is predominantly very good with some wear and discolouring towards the edges. Internally very good with slight marking to the upper page block. Protected dust-wrapper is predominantly very good with some rubbing and discolouring to the edges, browning to the verso.

One of 400 copies printed by the Ash-Tree Press in 1996. NO DUST-WRAPPER, but the book is virtually as new internally. Some marks and fading to the blue hardback cover.

No date but presumably 1955-6. Dedication to front free endpaper dated 1956, and signed by author (as 'Mary Hughes', her married name, and initialed 'M.W.W.'). A rare 90-page stapled booklet, home-produced: the history of Burlton in Shropshire, together with recollections of the author's childhood in the area. Contents good, card covers have wear and marking. Black and white illustrations by Thelma Ayre.

First edition 1938, good in brown cloth, stamp of Friends Meeting House Malvern and signature (C. Graveson) to front endpaper. Browning to rough-cut edges. Binding sound. No dust-wrapper.
