In poor condition. The cover is very worn, particularly along the spine and around the corners. The top right corner is especially damaged. There are drawings penned by a young child on the insides of the front and back covers, but the inside pages themselves are clean. Some tanning and small markings on the inside pages.

Reprint of the first edition, published by Gerald G. Swan in London, 1947. Hardback. No dust jacket. In fine condition. The hardcover itself has a few small surface marks and is slightly worn along the top edge and heel of the spine. Some foxing and tanning visible on the pages.

1st edition, fourth impression, published by Paul Hamlyn Ltd. in London, 1967. Hardback. In fairly good condition. The dust jacket is worn slight around the edges, with a small tear having been taped along the bottom right corner. Some light tanning, but no foxing visible on the inside pages.
