No place: Atramentous Press, 2019. First Edition. Hardcover. Octavo. 130pp. Limited to 333 copies. Bound in terracotta cloth with blue insignias to front and back panels. Spine titled in blue. Heritage blue endpapers. Illustrated in color and b/w. A near fine copy, issued without dust jacket. This grimoiric work by David Herrerias is based on Andrew Chumbleys Dragon Book of Essex, Qutub and Azoetia, as well as Austin Osman Spare's Zoetic Grimoire of Zos and The Book of Pleasure. Combining his Mexican cultural background with western occultism, The Book of Qab iTz presents an opportunity to engage with a pantheon of tricksters, familiars, Gods and Goddesses through the dream state. And while it acknowledges the influence of others, it is not a simple reflection of the past, but rather marks the evolution of the mysteries based on individual endeavour. The work is visually stunning.

This groundbreaking release is the first authoritative work on Ludwig Klages and his pagan metaphysics ever to be published in English. Without a doubt Klages is one of the most intriguing and enigmatic pagan thinkers of the early 20th Century. A figure of great controversy he radically rejected Christianity and Monotheism in favor of a pan-daemonic paganism. Advocating the return to primordial states of consciousness through magico-erotic encounters with the living powers of the ensouled cosmos, Klages was a driving…

New Delhi: Motilal Banarsidass, 2009. First Indian Edition. Hardcover in pictorial boards. Thick octavo. xxvii + 701pp. A near fine copy. Frederick M. Smith proposes that positive oracular or ecstatic possession is the most common form of spiritual expression in India, and that it has been linguistically distinguished from negative, disease-producing possession for thousands of years. In South Asia possession has always been broader and more diverse than in the West, where it has been almost entirely characterized as "demonic." At best, spirit possession has been regarded as a medically treatable psychological ailment and at worst, as a condition that requires exorcism or punishment. In South (and East) Asia, ecstatic or oracular possession has been widely practiced throughout history, occupying a position of respect in early and recent Hinduism and in certain forms of Buddhism. Smith analyzes Indic literature from all ages-the earliest Vedic texts; the Mahabharata; Buddhist, Jain, Yogic,…
