This is a lot of two books on artist Pierre Bonnard, both paperback exhibition catalogues.
Bonnard Drawings from 1893 to 1946, published by The American Federation of Arts in 1972, contains essays by Antoine Terrasse and Patrick Heron, and 114 b&w reproductions of the artist's drawings. Good- condition, small spots on the cover, browning on the spine, foxing on page edges. Handwritten price on the title page, otherwise all pages are clean, binding tight.
Bonnard and His Environment, published by The Museum of Modern Art in 1964, contains texts by James Thrall Soby, James Elliott, and Monroe Wheeler, 43 b&w and 41 color plates of Bonnard's paintings plus b&w photos and reproductions of drawings and prints accompanying the text. Good- condition as well, with stains and marks on covers and end papers, foxing on page edges. Binding is tight.
