This is the 6th edition of this volume of Edna St. Vincent Millay's poems. St. Vincent Millay (1892–1950) was an American lyrical poet and playwright. One of the most successful and respected poets of her time, she won a Pulitzer Prize for The Ballad of the Harp-Weaver in 1923, and was also known for her public persona, including her feminist activism and in-person readings and performances.This volume is a limp leather bound edition with gilt lettering, with original glassine dust jacket, all in a board slip cover. Front hinge cracked (see image), otherwise mint. Slip cover is in good- condition, intact with discoloration around the spine and edges, rubbing on front edges and a top to bottom split on the front spine seam. VG overall.
