[7.5x5.25in]; [8], 312 pp., frontispiece illustration of Custer, map of Montana and Dakota, appendix; Light brown cloth covers with gilt lettering on front and spine, gilt and black ink illustrations on front and spine of mountains with gilt sun set, illustration of music sheet and trumpet on front, blind stamped sun rays on front and back covers, clay coated brown end papers, all edges trimmed; Minor shelf wear to covers and edges, lower corners bumped and minor fraying, some spots and rubbing to covers, slight age toning of text, prior owner inscription on front end papers.
