Ulverston: James Atkinson, 1894 larger 8vo cloth pp394 bw plates/drawings fold-out plan subscribers list index VG- Local history work, mainly considering the Medieval era and after, with reference to prehistory and modern industry. Subscribers list shows a Mrs Dryden of Putney, and 'F. S. Dryden Putney' is written in old fashioned ink style inside front. All plates and fold-out abbey plan present. Front blank endpaper pasted to binding, and small adhesive label tear and mark over old pricing. Minor general wear, a scarce subscriber copy. [ Larger book, so possible extra postage overseas. ]
