Illustrated dustwrapper with brown, black and white coloured titles to the front panel and brown and black coloured titles to the back strip. Black-and-white photograph of authors to the rear panel. The authors were given an assignment to track down the scourge of tropical north Australia – the saltwater crocodile (a 'salty'). The crocodile itself proved elusive, but, they found a different subject – the people who actually live in a vast, unforgiving landscape. For, as the front fold over blurb states "...
