End=papers ill. with route map. col. f/piece of company coat of arms + x + 289, 18 further plates ex-pagination, 16 col. ills of ships and 2 portraits, pp.250-259 are silhouettesof 'past and Presnt P.& O. Vessels' (these small and arranged in rows & columns); as a bonus there is a slipped in col. P. & O. House Flag bookmark with red silk (?) string (which seems to imply it way acquired by a passenger on board) plus a rather tanned 1947 Sunday Times press cutting on 'Why liners are scarce' ill. with silhouettes showing pre and post war numbers available. Top edge blue tinted but this faint at sp. end. Unclipped jacket in protective sleeve seems faultless. A remarkably good copy. 19 cm x 24 cm
