The first edition. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. This novel was written by R. C Hutchinson, a best selling British novelist best known for his Booker Prize shortlisted novel 'Rising'. This story follows Johanna Von Leezen, a women who is found at a half way house in Holland with memory loss after World War II, who is forced to confront her past when she returns to her home country in Germany. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely with only an old ink inscription to the front free endpaper and a bookseller's label to the front pastedown. The wrap is also lovely with only slight marks and minimal edge wear. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages. Fine
