Binding is tight and square, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean, with previous owner name neatly penned on front free endpaper. No other marks. Frontispiece photo portrait of "Katia". 256 pages. Clean illustrated dust jacket is not price clipped (2.50 on front inside flap), has slight edge wear and some tiny edge chips, a few short closed edge tears. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. Scarce and brilliant historical novel of the little Princess whose romance with Czar Alexander II all but changed the fate of Russia..
