Cambridge, MA: The Riverside Press, 1941. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good +. 356pp. Octavo [23.5cm]. Bound in gray cloth, with title stamped in brown ink on spine and front board. Cartographic endpapers and red topstain. Rubbing to extremities. No cracks in the textblock, but binding is a little shaky. (Charming) contemporary gift inscription on the half-title; prior owner's signature on title page. In a dust jacket with scattered losses on edges and at creases. Rear panel is detached, and split has been amateurly repaired with tape. Memoir of a girlhood spent on a New Mexico ranch in the late 19th century.
