The first UK edition of this collection of this well received poems by Elinor Wylie, in the original dust wrapper. The first UK edition of this work, which was first published in the US in 1921.In the publisher's original unclipped dust wrapper.A celebrated collection from the American poet and novelist, who was enormously popular in the 1920s and 1930s, for both her beauty and her poetry. The work was immediately successful, and was awarded the Julia Ellsworth Ford Prize by The Poetry Society. In the publisher's original paper covered boards, with unclipped dust wrapper. Back strip age toned, with rubbing to back strip tail. Fading to fore edges of boards. Dust wrapper back strip age toned, with wraps bright. Small losses of paper to back strip head and tail, with small closed tears to the centre of the back strip, repaired with tape to the reverse. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. Very Good Indeed
