Signed and dated to the title page, includes hundreds of mostly color photographs of Fairey's art from the beginning of his career to 2006 including paintings, street art, stickers, skateboard paintings, counterfeit bills, posters, and everything else. Includes writing by Fairey himself as well as Kevin Taylor, Helen Stickler, Roger Gastman, Steven Heller, Jeff Beer, Rob Walker and Henry Rollins. In addition to the book is Shepard`s 24 inch tall by 16 1/2 inch wide poster titled "Rose Shackle". Shepard Fairey's first comprehensive monograph brought back into print, which chronicles his early art school days, his viral Andre the Giant has a Posse sticker campaign in the 1990s, the creation of his enormously successful OBEY apparel brand, and his longtime role as an activist-street artist. He is best known for his Barack Obama "Hope" poster, which he created in support of the 2008 presidential campaign. His work has been included in the collections of several museums, including the Smithsonian in Washington D.C.; the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; the Museum of Modern Art, New York; and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London..
