Description:
Anthony Lee Ash, The Gospel According to Luke (series: The Living Word Commentary [on the New Testament] 4; 2 vols.; Austin, Tex.: Sweet Publishing Company, 1972; repr., 1975). 167 pages in vol. 1 ("Part I, Luke 1:1–9:50") and 156 pages in vol. 2 ("Part II, Luke 9:51–24:53"). 8¼″ × 5⁷⁄₁₆″ × ¹¹⁄₁₆″. Hardcover. Never had a dust jacket. Vol. 1 ISBN 10: 0834400677; ISBN 13: 978–0834400672. Vol. 2 ISBN 10: 0834400774; ISBN 13: 978–0834400771. These two volumes belonged to the personal library of a minister, who catalogued them and then pasted a library card in a manila sleeve pocket and a "Date Due" slip on the back endpapers. There is no "call number" library label, however, on the spine. This previous owner also stamped his name on the front and back endpapers and on the three edges of the pages (front, bottom, and side). All pages are clean, with no writing, no underlining, no highlighting, and no marks of any kind. In fact, both volumes look like they've never been read.
