Binding: Original fine leather binding. Beautifully decorated with gilted panels and spine cover. Gilt slightly faded due to the aging, sticker on the spine cover, some signs of wear on the panels and along the edges, spine slightly loose.Condition: Gilted textblock edges. Illustrations of all four evangelist from New Testament and image of Resurrection on the frontispiece. Inscriptions by the previous owner on the flyleaf. Notable stains at the top right side of the title page and first few leaves also, some minor stains due to aging and usage on other leaves as well, cracked gutter, text very well preserved, in very good condition, fine collector's copy.
