Los Angeles: Twentieth Century-Fox, 1979. Revised First Draft script for an unproduced film, dated December 26, 1979, a collaborations between screenwriters Peter Gethers and David Handler. The two writers seem to have been inseparable throughout their film careers, collaborating almost exclusively on episodes for television series like "Charles in Charge" (1984), "Kate & Allie" (1984-1986), "CBS Summer Playhouse: 'The Saint in Manhattan,'" (1987), and "Working It Out" (1990). They have also written novels together, under the pseudonym Russell Andrews.
Ray Burns is a soap opera actor who is caught in a love triangle with his son Mike and a reporter, Joanna.
Set in New York.
Brown studio wrappers, noted as REVISED FIRST DRAFT on the front wrapper, dated December 26, 1979. Title page present, dated December 26, 1979, noted as REVISED FIRST DRAFT, with credits for screenwriters Gethers and Handler. 138 leaves, xerographically duplicated, eye-rest green with white revision pages throughout. Faint stains to the page fore-edges, else pages and wrapper Near Fine, bound with two gold brads.
