About This Item
Synopsis
In the second book of the Xenogenesis Series , Adulthood Rites , Lilith has given birth to Akin, who looks human although he has five parents, three of whom are alien. As the earth is populated with hybrids, called “constructs,” some humans resist. The resisters are sterilized and set in separate colonies where they are left alone - until they kidnap Akin. Akin is left with the resisters to decide whether the humans can regain their fertility and freedom even if it means they will inevitably destroy themselves again.
