Paris:: Édition du Mercure de France, 1911. A very nice copy of this limited edition. One of 1000 numbered copies on Velin D'Arches paper. Soft covers are a little darkened, but sound and overall in very good shape. Signed by the artist Rouveyre to the half title page. The original name of the dedication has been cut out, leaving an area of loss to the front end paper. With 8 full page illustrations by Rouveyre. The final pages are beautifully presented in pure Art Nouveau typeset and design with cul-de-lampes and vignettes. A lovely piece of work. Printed entirely from woodcuts by Rouveyre, destroyed after printing. [1-24], XXV-XXXVI pp. Text in French. 280 x 220 mm (11 x 8¾ inches). Très bel exemplaire de cette édition limitée. Paris: Petit Courrier des Enfans, 1841. Two volumes. First edition. Quarter red leather with gilt titles to red boards. A little bumping and rubbing to the edges of the boards. Each volume contains 12 engraved plates - so 24 in total. The wide pages are each divided in 4 columns, and pagination is by column, rather than page. Each volume contains 12 issues, each containing 12 pages and a plate. These are not dated, but have the title to the top of the first (4) pages. So each volume has 144 pages (despite a pagination of 576.) Some darkening / spotted foxing to the pages, but overall in very respectable condition. 250 x 180 mm (9¾ x 7 inches). Deux tomes. Dodge Publishing Company, 1913. VG+. Green and brown stamped leather binding shows rubbing and abrasion on edges, spine, and front and back covers. Marbled end papers slightly age-toned. Inked inscription on flyleaf and old penciled price on end paper. Inscription says, "Wishing Etta much happiness. from Orville May 30, 1915." Original box is heavily worn along all edges and has been taped together. Overall, a lovely copy of a book of poems that can still uplift today. Macmillan and co. London. 1928. Reprint of 1897 edition. 8vo. (7.4 x 4.9 inches). Illustrated with 39 full page line illustrations by Pegram. Tissue guard to the frontis. Creasing to the top outer corner of 20 leaves, otherwise a vary good copy in a fine early leather binding by Riviere and son. Half blue calf. Spine with raised bands, the compartments decorated and lettered in gilt. Blue cloth on boards. Marbled endpapers. Top edge gilt. School arms and motto stamped in gilt to the front board and a school prize label, from Woodlands School in Deganwy in North Wales, to the front pastedown endpaper. A little rubbing to the extremities but overall a very good and attractive copy.

Top edge gilt, grey endpapers with inner dentelles, 6 hand colored wood engravings. Unfortunately this book has been damp on the bottom edge and corner with the resulting dampstaining to the pages and affecting the illustrations, tears in the leather at top and bottom of the spine.
