Angelita's Cookbook a Community Cookbook of Southwestern Recipes by The Camelback and Phoenix Alumnae Clubs of Pi Beta Phi of Phoenix, Arizona 8vo size plastic comb binding; 93 pages with some black and white decorations, plus a few pages of vintage advertisements. Colored section dividers have black and white illustrations and advertisements on the reverse. There are some blank pages titled "libreta" for your notes. Recipes include the name of the contributor. There is a two page list of contributors which includes the chapter other which she is a member. Contents include: Bebidas/Drinks Aperitivos/Appetizers Sopas y Ensaladas/Soups and Salads Legumbres y Arroz y Pan/Vegetables Rice and Bread La Comida/Dinner Dulces y Fiesta/Sweets and Party Ideas Recipes include: Sangria; Wayland's Green Chile Salsa; Jalapeno Cheese Spread; Nacho Grande; Gazpacho; Corn Chowder; Jiffy Tortilla Soup; Ensalada de Noche Buena/Christmas Eve Salad; Mexican Hominy; Mexican Spoon Bread; Chile Relleno Casserole; Souffle Mexicana; Easter Egg Salad Sandwiches; Chulentas de Puerco/Pork Chops; Chalupa; Green Chile Noodles; Peggy's Ranch Style Frijoles; Connie's Beans; Tacoritos; Green Enchiladas; Cottage Cheese Enchiladas; Almondrado; Satin Caramel Flan; Baking Powder Sopapillas; Biscoclsitos; Mexican Wedding Cakes; Pi Phi Dessert, more. In very good condition with some rubbing to covers. We note light impression marks on front cover which appear to be from a wire bound book. . Spiral Comb.
