Johnson, Director of Chicago's Adler Planetarium Museum, one of the largest and most unusual astronomical museums in the world. His aim was not only to simplify difficult material and to keep it scientifically accurate but to make it as interesting as the scientist finds it. A well illustrated book in color and b/w. The photographs appear through the courtesy of the Boyden Station of the Harvard College Observatory, the Lick, Mount Wilson and Palomar and Yerkes Observatories. This book offers ten chapters. Photo illustrated endpapers. Brightly illustrated glossy hardboard covers. A very nice learning tool for children!. Hard Cover. Near Fine.
