About This Item
SIGNED by Elsworth 'Sonny' Wisecarver on a white index card. (3" x 5") Ellsworth Wisecarver was known as the "Woo-Woo Kid" owing to his exploits while still a teenager; at fourteen, he ran off with the married mother of two; two years later, he did it again. The second time around the woman he ran off with was arrested and later convicted for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Wisecarver's exploits lent some respite to an America depressed by the Second World War, and several decades later served as the basis for the 1987 film "In The Mood" starring actor Patrick Dempsey. An elusive autograph. .
