Doubleday & Company Inc., 1951. 1st Edition. Hardcover. VG/VG++. 1st U.S. Edition. 15 x 22.5 cm black cloth backed grey paper covered boards with gilt stamped titles to the front and spine. Top edge purple, 85 (1) with colour title page, 64 pages of black and white photographs and numerous black and white line drawings throughout. Original dust jacket with $3.00 price. A touch of rubbing to the bottom edge and tiny bruises to the bottom corners. Internally there are crossed out inscriptions to the front and rear endpapers and a hint or toning to the endpapers where the dust jacket does not cover.
