Small folio of (4) ll., 80 plates bound face to face, few stains and foxing, small tear restored without loss in the first plate. Bradel binding in decorated paper, small round hole in the center of the front cover which shows on the endleaf and old wood engraved fleuron glued. Binding towards 1900.
304 x 194 mm.
Precious educational album composed of 40 double-page lithographs entirely watercolored showing kitchen tools, musical instruments, houses, characters, animal species (from farms, birds, wild, etc.), flowers, plants…
The plates are preceded with a title and handwritten tables listing the 40 double-page plates. They are surmounted with a printed title.
Copies we could locate only contain 30 plates and not 40 like this one.

Bradel plein papier décoré au pochoir, petite fenêtre ronde au centre du plat supérieur laissant apparaître un fleuron ancien gravé sur bois et collé sur la garde. Reliure vers 1900.

Les planches sont précédées d'un titre et de tables manuscrites listant les 40 planches doubles. Elles sont d'autre part surmontées d'un titre imprimé.
Les exemplaires que nous avons pu localiser ne comportent que 30 planches et non 40 comme celui-ci.
