Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1864. First edition. Very Good. 2 volumes. 22 cm; 608, 600 pages. In original red leather over marbled boards, marble endleaves. Top edge gilt. Leather a bit weak, with wear and some loss at joints. Gilt stamped decoration on spine faded. Shelf wear. Shelf mark on paper label on spines, and in pencil on title pages. Residue of old bookplates present. No institutional marks.
