Hollywood: Ventura Pictures, 1950. Draft script for the 1950 film, seen here under the working title "Blaze of Glory." Working copy belonging to actor Lon McCallister, with his annotations in manuscript pencil throughout, amending dialogue and noting deletions. Laid in with the script is a 15 page master schedule, and a document relating to rent regulations.

A jockey dreams of being a sportswriter while falling in love with a woman who paints portraits of horses.

Blue titled wrappers. Title page present, undated, noted as copy No. 27, with credits for screenwriter Otto Englander. 91 leaves, with last page of text numbered 89. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only, with undated yellow and blue revision pages throughout. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Near Fine, bound internally with three gold brads.
