Paris: Harrison of Paris, 1932. Hardcover. Fine. Black beveled buckram decoratively gilt, slipcase, 8vo., 239, (1) pages, decorations of the signs of the zodiac by Pavel Tchelitchew. One of 695 numbered copies designed by Monroe Wheeler and printed under the supervision of Jan van Krimpen at Joh. Enschede en Zonen on Dutch Pannekoek pure-rag paper. The first book to be printed in van Krimpen's twelve-point Romanee type. This copy is signed by Wescott and additionally inscribed by him to Louise Bogan and designated "Louise Bogan's copy" in Wescott's hand at the head of the colophon page. A fine, entirely unopened copy in archival mylar, in the original slipcase with cover label that is missing the front of the top and bottom panels and has two small tape repairs.
