Montreal, Quebec: Montreal, PQ: House of Seagram, 1941, 1st Edition, First Printing , 1941. ------------( 1st printing of the First Edition ) hardcover, bevelled boards with red leather with gilt lettering and decoration, paper Canadian emblem as front board decoration, ribbon marker as issued, a Near Fine example with a bit of rubbing to tips, a very tidy example of a scarce edition, the trade edition is EXTREMELY COMMON ( Blue cloth and spine) but this red leather edition is quite scarce ( 300 to 400 copies approximately according to Spadoni ), 257 pages, colour and b&w as well two-tone illustrations, ---this has been signed without inscription by LEACOCK on page xxx (as it should for the limited edition ), a nice clear signature and a very nice example of this title, any image directly beside this listing is the actual book and not a generic photo /// SIGNED ---GUARANTEED to be AVAILABLE/// ---sizes are approximate (generally within 1/8 inch)---.
