Paris: Librairie Felix Alcan, 1922. Soft cover. Fair/Fair. 266p., list of illustrations 2p., table of contents 2p., 25cm. 54 plates, mostly b/w photographs, with 2 line drawings and one portrait. Off white dust jacket enclosing paper wrappers, some deckled edge pages, some pages uncut. Lightly soiled, thumbed, tape stains on inside of front cover and minor ones on front free endpaper. Darkening to edges of pages and ffeps from dust jacket. Spine cracked but holding, top and bottom of dust jacket spine torn and chipped, sides of spine and all corners bumped. French language collection of essays about the Canadian post WWI French mission of Marshal Fayolle to thank the Canadian parents of soldiers who fell in combat to liberate France. As part of that mission various experts were asked to research ways of developing and improving relations between France and the Dominion of Canada. These essays cover many facets of life in Canada and the history of this mission.
