About This Item
London: Hogarth Press,, 1933. First edition, first impression, including "The Land", "Sissinghurst", and 28 new poems published here for the first time. Volume one was the only volume to be published. Octavo. Original red cloth, spine lettered in gilt. With dust jacket. Cloth vivid, slight lean to spine and bowing to covers, superficial short splits to front inner hinge, foxing to edges and outer leaves, endpapers browned, text clean. A very good copy in slightly foxed dust jacket, occasional nicks, small chip to head of lightly toned spine, still a very good example indeed. Cross & Ravenscroft-Hulme A29a; Woolmer 331b.
