London: Published at the Punch Office, 1847. Book. Illus. by Leech, John. Very Good. Half-Leather. Firrst Thus ( Bound ). Fery good, with lightly worn extremities, some rubbing to the marbled boards, minor foxing throughout, one loose plate in vol. 1and two loose plates in Vol. 2. Prev. owner name on front endpaper, is Sutton Fulford, and obviously 19th century. Gilt stamped brown leather, with 5 raised bands, and black spine labels. fore edges also marbled. Originally published in monthly installments, this is the first bound edition. Each volume contains 10 coloured etchings and 120 woodcuts. Vol 1 pub. 1847, and Vol. 2 1848. 320 pages and 304 pages respectively..
