Washington, D. C.: GPO, 1962. iv, 125p., plain printed selfwraps, facsimiles (one folding), slightest edgewear, some duplication of facsimiles, evidently printer's error. NB, GPO testimony by Helms is rendered in the Italian language only (2,000 copies each in Italian, French and Spanish). A nice copy of the Italian run. Hearing before the subcommittee to investigate the administration of the internal security act, etc., 87th congress first session. Larger portion of text consists in reproduction of various typescript documents and news articles. The foldout illustration shows global map (minus North America) with lines radiating from Moscow, Cairo, Hanoi and Beijing [Peking] that diagram "Distribution of Rockefeller letter by Soviet bloc, 1957-1960. As regards this letter, whether a successful dirty trick or a false imputation, we have no info. Facsimiles also introduce facsimile of a Douglas Dillon message on State Dept letterhead to Timberlake (US Congo ambasssador) to strengthen Tshombe, undercut Lumumba.
