N.p.: N.p., 1948. Vintage script for the 1948 play, first produced by the Actors Lab in California. INSCRIBED by playwrights Janet and Philip Stevenson on the title page: "To Steve / with deep affection and 'eternal hostility to every form of tyranny over the mind of man' / May 12, 1952 / Janet Stevenson / + Phil S."

A dramatization of the campaign experiences of President Thomas Jefferson. Later rewritten as "The Third President" and staged by Southern Players at Laboratory Theatre at Southern Illinois University in 1976.

Brown card wrappers with a typed title label affixed on the front wrapper. Title page present, undated, with credits for playwrights Janet and Philip Stevenson. 97 leaves, with last page of text numbered III-6-29. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Near Fine, bound internally with three gold brads.
