Written by an old acquaintance, who was a critical observer of all his actions, for near fifty years, first edition, London: Printed for Ann Lemoine, 1798, engraved frontispiece 'Dick Spot causing the pedlar to break his earthenware, plate dated: 'July 3. 1798' and title page dated 1798. Spine and corners faded and edges slightly rubbed, inner hinges cracked, light offsetting and a little minor spotting to text, manuscript shelf number to front endpapers, blank leaves separating the works, 1 blank leaf has an early cutting pasted on advertising an Astrologer, very good copies, binding tight and no loose pages.
