About This Item
San Francisco: Democratic Workers Party, 1980. Staplebound Wraps. discontinuous page numbering by section, 8.5x11 inches, mimeographed, staples rusting, previous owner's first name written at top right of front wrap, some brackets and text corrections jotted in ink by the cadre, a hint of must, else a good working copy. A working draft of the provisional program of the DWP, with corrections of typos, revised sentences, some underlining, bracketing, etc. by a party cadre. The DWP was active in Bay Area community organizing in the 1970s, but ultimately collapsed due to cadre disatisfaction with what had become a cult of personality around Marlene Dixon.
