Boston: Lothrop Publishing Company, 1901. Period full red morocco leather with raised bands and compartmented. Gilt lettering on spine. Edges of boards have gilt rulling with inside toolwork and gilt design on inside of board. Marbled endsheets. A lovely unsigned binding. Spine is a bit darkener than the rest of the leather as is common with a small chip to the bottom corner of spine. Signed and dedicated gift inscription on front free endpage. "To my friend/Mr. F.S. Witherbee/with best wishes from/D'ri and Me/Iriving Bacheller/Jan. 1, 1901." frontispiece plate of Irving Bacheller. . Signed by Author. Later Edition. Full Morocco Leather. Very Good. Illus. by F.
