Included are ten incunables and one sixteenth century book: the Koberger Latin Bible of 1478 (Goff B557), the Koberger German Bible of 1483 (Goff B632), the Speculum historiale and Speculo naturale of Vincentius Bellovacensis, both Venice: Liechtenstein, 1494 (Goff V286 and V294), the Supplementum Summae Pisanella of Nicolaus de Ausmo, Cologne: Winters, 1479 (Goff N64), Schoeffer's Psalter of 1490 (Hain 13494), Pliny's Letters, Rome: Silber, 1490 (Goff P809), Virgil's Works, Venice, Bartolomeo, '1486' (Goff V167) and Nuremberg: Koberger, 1492 (Goff V188), the works of Sallust, Brescia: Bernardinus de Misintis for Angelus and Jacobus Britannicus, 1495 (Goff S82), an undated incunable edition of Durandus, Rationale divinorum officiorum, and Angelus Decembrius' Politia litteraria, Ausburg: Steiner, 1540 (Adams D184). Eckhard considers provenance, the researches of earlier and contemporary scholars, notes on related editions, biographies of the printers and editors, &c.
