The Diocese of Ottawa at the time of publication included the Deaneries of Arnprior, Carleton, Lanark, Pembroke, Prescott, Russell & Stormont. Reverend Jefferson was their Bishop. Book encompasses two themes: 1). The building of the Diocese (24 pp.), and 2). The people and their churches (192 pp.). Preface by The Right Reverend Ernest S. Reed, Bishop of Ottawa. Also: Appendices, Postscript, Index. 237 pp. in toto. Book has red cloth covered boards with gilt text on spine and front panel, map ep's, illustrated with b/w photographs.
