New York: Cupples & Leon Company, 1924. Bedtime Wonder Tales 8vo size pictorial clothbound hardcover; 126 pages with illustrated endpapers (different front and back endpapers) color illustrated endpapers on glossy stock and additional color illustrations also on glossy stock. Clifton Johnson (1865-1940) was an American author and bookstore owner. Binding is fragile with both pastedowns cracked. Exterior spine is significantly worn and book has edgewear and worn corners. There are several small areas of wear to pictorial cover; back cover has some soil and red ink spots. Pages are tanned. . Pictorial Cover. Acceptable/No Jacket. Illus. by Smith, Harry L. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
