The first letter concerns Of Relicks, and the ill use that is made of them; the second Of the Corrupt, Ambitious, and Revengeful Spirit of the roman Clergy and The Inquisition is a ready means to satisfie their Cruelty and Revenge; the third, Of the Hospitals and Pilgrims in Italy. The Monks and Priests have converted the Revenues belonging to them, to their own use; the Fourth, Of Journeying to Loretto; the fifth, Of the Italian Festivals and Confraternities; the sixth, the deplorable Abuse of Preaching in Italy; the Seventh, Of the processions of Italy, and the eighth, the Corruption of Italian Priests and monks, in their Doctrin and Morals. Rebound in full brown calf. Three identical ownership signatures on the title-page, the dedication, and the note to the reader.
