George Barrie, Philadelphia, 1885. Leather Bound. Acceptable. Fair+ Full Leather 5 VOLUME SET. ORIGINAL 1885 PRINTING. Many beautiful full page steel and wood engravings, plus many B&W illustrations. Ex-Library with usual markings....filing # on spines, bookplate on inside covers and library name stamp on blank backside of plates. Text unmarked. Gilt page edges. Covers (brown leather with gilt lettering on front and spines) show edge wear with rubbing/scuffing and bumped corners. Spine edge wear/chipping. Vertical tears near hinges with scuffing. Both hinges vol. 1 and 5 cracked and loose and rear hinge on vol. 2, cracked but bindings still intact. Covers show heavy edge wear/scuffing but pages are still quite nice....VERY CLEAN AND UNMARKED WITH NO FOXING SPOTS.; 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed! Ships same or next business day!
