Limited to 1,500 copies, of which this is number 14. Letter by Tagor in facsimile adhered to front pastedown. Twenty-nine plates, some of which are tipped-in and some with tissue guards. Lacking plate titled The Peacock adjacent to page 92. Supple half brown calf over linen boards with Morocco gilt-lettered label to spine. Minor staining to edges of frontispiece. Some pages uncut. Small previous owner's inscription to upper corner of front endpaper. Overall a nice clean copy. Scarce.
