Second collection of poems by the former professor of English and Humanities at Alice Lloyd College. Cohen (1928-2007), in addition to his outspoken personality, was known during his time at ALC to be an outspoken advocate against strip mining, often protesting by lying down in the middle of haul roads holding a Bible and the American flag. A compelling association copy contemporarily inscribed to songwriter and protest musician Pete Seeger.
