Macmillan, 1897. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 1st thus Sole authorised English edition. Good to very good. Burgundy buckram boards with gilt titles to front and spine. Mark to spine and rear board and 'cup' mark to front board. Some rubbing to top and bottom of spine and spine slightly cocked. Internally very good with book plate to front paste down otherwise very clean without foxing. Translation NOT by Vizitelly although he did make some changes to the uncredited translation (see preface by Vizitelly)
