Nos. 154 and 155 in the Family Library. Two volume set. Textured cloth over boards with gilt particulars to spine. Contains the original frontispiece fold-out map of the area of the expedition in Volume I, as well as six other plates. Volume I: 371 pp; Volume II: 395 pp, with 8 pages of ads following.
Losses to spine of Volume II (see image). Wear to tips. Some foxing to both volumes, primarily front pastedown of Volume I and title page of Volume II. 1.75 x 3 inch square has been cut out of front fly of Volume I; no text is affected.
